Hatha Flow

Our online class on Saturdays is a fun way to awaken the body at the start of the weekend.

 

It takes taking flowing yoga postures and combines them pranayama and relaxation. The class is aimed to strengthens and invigorates, simultaneously deepening your conenction with your breath and energy body.

 

The class is tailored for mixed abilities, so some experience of yoga can be beneficial.

Online

Beginners Yoga

Hatha yoga emphasizes balance, alignment, and gentle movement within traditional yoga poses. Designed for those new to yoga in mind - this class serves as a perfect entry point for beginners, or anyone seeking a gentler approach. Whether you're navigating the recovery from an injury, managing stress, or looking to ease stiffness, our beginners Hatha yoga class can be tailored to accommodate individual needs. With a focus on building strength, enhancing flexibility, and promoting mental calmness, it's an ideal choice for anyone aiming to cultivate both physical and mental well-being.

In Studio

Pranayama

Discover the art of Pranayama, the 4th limb of Ashtanga Yoga and master the science of breathing for better health.

 

Each 1hr 15mins class will give:

​

  • A brief overview of lung functions.

  • Gentle warm-up exercises.

  • Step-by-step pranayama techniques.

  • A calming relaxation practice.

​

Classes are rooted in the rich Gitananda Indian Yogic tradition.

 

Suitable for all, the classes are available both online and at our Studios.

While a 6-week commitment is recommended, drop-ins and mid-program joiners are welcome. 

​

Please note: smokers are encouraged to start with our beginners' hatha yoga until 6 months smoke-free.

In Studio and Online

Yin Yoga

Taking place in our candlelit Studio, this is a beautiful centering class during which we spend longer periods in static poses mainly done on the floor.

​

Yin yoga delves deep, targeting the connective tissues, ligaments, and joints with prolonged holds and introspective poses. Whether you're aiming to enhance flexibility, release chronic tension, or cultivate mindfulness, our yin yoga class is designed to meet each participant's unique needs. Focusing on passive stretches held for longer period of time, Yin yoga promotes resilience and nurturing of the inner self.

This class is suitable for all. 

In Studio

Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra

Restorative yoga emphasizes deep relaxation, gentle stretches, and the use of supportive props to melt away tension. Crafted with rejuvenation in mind, this class offers an oasis of calm for both newcomers and seasoned yogis alike. Whether you're seeking relief from a demanding day, grappling with emotional fatigue, or simply desiring a moment of introspection, our restorative yoga class a perfect practice for those wishing to immerse themselves in a serene and therapeutic experience.

This online class is in two parts:

The first 40 minutes of this class will guide you through use of props to find supported postures you will relax in for up to 10 minutes.

 

The remaining 20 minutes of this class is a full Yoga Nidra practice, during which you will be guided through a thoughtful meditation and breathing practise.

​

This class is suitable for all. 

It is particularly suited to those who are recovering from illness, or who suffer from any anxiety or stress.
